Polished stone and large-format tile are beautiful and unforgiving, acoustically and underfoot. A generous rug softens both. In pale rooms a tonal weave gives the eye something to hold without introducing a colour the room has to answer to, which is why sand, ivory, camel and greige do most of the work here.

New Zealand wool is naturally resilient and regulates moisture well, which matters in Florida more than in most places. Wool and silk blends suit formal rooms where the sheen lifts against pale walls. Jute and wool weaves give a firmer, more textured surface for rooms that open onto a terrace. Shipping and duties are handled in the quote, so the price you approve is the price you pay. Building certificates of insurance for condo deliveries are arranged in advance.

How long does a custom rug take?

Selected designs held as rolls are cut to size in about a week. Fully bespoke commissions take longer, and we confirm a date rather than a range at the outset.
