Luxury Rugs Dammam and Al Khobar

Luxury Rugs in Dammam and Al Khobar, Made to Measure

The Eastern Province builds differently from the rest of the Kingdom. Villas in Al Khobar and Dhahran sit within compounds with wide reception rooms, family homes in Dammam and Qatif keep a separate majlis for guests, and the Corniche apartments open to the Gulf. Rugberry makes rugs for exactly these rooms: drawn for the space, cut to the centimetre, and delivered to your door anywhere in the Eastern Province.

Handcrafted Rugberry luxury rug styled in a bright formal interior

Made for the majlis

A majlis asks for one surface that holds all the seating together, with generous margins beyond. In the Eastern Province that is often five metres and more, with seating along two or three walls, and a second, smaller majlis for the family. No size chart carries that. We take a floor plan or measurements and draw the rug from there, in rectangles, in L shapes that follow the seating, or in rounds for a family room, and confirm the dimensions with you before anything is woven.

Where we deliver in the Eastern Province

Most commissions here go to a handful of areas, and the rooms in each ask for something different. Al Khobar, along the Corniche and in Al Rakah, Al Aziziyah and Al Yarmouk, for apartments and villas with strong light and stone floors. Dhahran for compound villas where the plan is fixed and the rug has to fit it. Dammam, in Al Shati, Al Faisaliyah and Al Mazruiyah, for established family homes with formal reception rooms. Jubail for new builds drawn to a plan, and Qatif and Al Ahsa for larger houses with more than one majlis. We deliver the same way to Hofuf and across the province.

Materials for the Gulf coast

The Eastern Province is humid for much of the year, and the material has to answer that. New Zealand wool regulates moisture naturally and holds its colour under strong light, which is why it is the default here. Wool and silk weaves suit formal reception rooms, where the sheen lifts at seated eye level. Jute and wool weaves give a firmer, more textured surface for rooms that open onto a terrace or the Corniche. For pieces meant to last generations, a hand-knotted rug is the traditional construction. The rare fibres of Rugberry Reserve, cashmere, alpaca, mohair, merino and llama, are shown on request for principal bedrooms and private rooms.

For designers, contractors and compounds

Much of our Eastern Province work comes through interior designers and fit-out contractors, often for several rooms or several villas at once, and the process is built for it: drawings to scale against your floor plan, colour matched to the scheme rather than to a catalogue, a strike-off approved before weaving begins, and a single confirmed delivery date rather than a range. Trade terms, project pricing and sample handling are set out on the Rugberry Trade Program page.

Delivery across Saudi Arabia

Every piece is made by hand and delivered to Dammam, Al Khobar, Dhahran, Jubail and across the Kingdom, finished, bound and ready to place. Shipping and customs are handled in the quote, so the price you approve is the price you pay. Delivery is booked with you once the rug is finished. Questions we are asked most

Do you deliver to Dammam and Al Khobar?

Yes. We deliver across the Eastern Province, with Dammam, Al Khobar, Dhahran and Jubail the most frequent destinations, and across the rest of Saudi Arabia. Delivery is arranged when the rug is finished.

Can you make a rug for a large majlis?

Yes, that is our core work. Majlis-scale pieces are made to order at any dimension, including L shapes that follow the seating, and hand-knotted construction is available for rugs intended to stay with the family.

Which materials suit the Eastern Province climate?

New Zealand wool regulates moisture and holds its colour under strong light, which makes it the usual choice for the Gulf coast. Jute and wool weaves suit rooms that open onto a terrace. We will steer you away from anything that will not sit well in the room.

How do I choose colours from Dammam?

Send a fabric swatch, a paint reference or photographs of the room. Before weaving begins we make a strike-off, a physical sample of the weave in your colours, so you approve the tone in your own light.

Do you work with Eastern Province interior designers and contractors?

Regularly. Drawings are prepared to scale against the floor plan, colours are matched to the scheme, and trade terms are set out on the Trade Program page. Compound and project work is quoted as a single delivery.

How long does a commission take?

Selected designs held as rolls are cut to size in about a week. Fully bespoke commissions take longer, and we confirm a date rather than a range at the outset.
